"And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ." Eph 4:11-12

Tempering Truth with Love (Ephesians 4:15)
Do you believe all religions lead to the same destination? and that your good works will get you to heaven? Do you believe it does not matter what you believe as long as you are sincere? Do you believe that going to church makes you a christian? Do you believe there is no heaven or hell? and there is no hope beyond the grave?
If you believe any of the above, allow me to warn you that you have been "Crazy Deceived!"
What's sad today is that many people think they are saved (Christians) but they are not and they don't know it. They heard and responded to a repackaged gospel that was more appealing, amusing, entertaining, and less offensive. Jesus was presented to them as a genie in a lamp, and as you rub the lamp, Jesus jumps out and grants the sinner whatever he/she wants including salvation without repentance.
A recent pollster by Barna research asked America's born again Christians if they had a Biblical worldview. To determine a Biblical worldview, Barna used the following 8 point criteria:
1. Believing that absolute moral truths exist.
2. Such truths are defined by the Bible.
3. Jesus Christ lived a sinless life.
4. God is the all-knowing, all-powerful Creator and still rules today.
5. Salvation is a gift of God and cannot be earned.
6. Christians have a responsibility to share their faith in Christ.
7. Satan is real.
8. The Bible is accurate in all its teachings.
According to Barna, only 9% of America's born again Christians have a Biblical worldview. Only 9%!
More than 90% of born again Christians do not have a Biblical Worldview. The vast majority of professing Christians today have no clue as to what being a Christian really means.
Barna's research gets even more disturbing. His survey reveals that only 3% of Christian parents include ‘the salvation of their children’ in the list of critical parental emphasis. What?? Does this mean that 97% of America's Christian parents really don't think it "critical" that their own children go to heaven?
In addition, 45% of America's Christian parents teach their children that there are NO moral absolutes.
George Barna summarized his findings by saying:
"The problem with America's Christianity today is that, for the most part, it doesn't exist! -No wonder so many unbelievers see nothing in the church that would draw them to a life-transforming faith in Christ. No wonder so many political leaders ignore the church. No wonder that despite some 300,000 evangelical churches, scores and hundreds of television and radio ministries, and millions of professing Christians, our nation is still on a collision course with calamity!
What America needs is real Christianity! The kind of Christianity that changed the course of history. The kind of Christianity that changed the face of Europe. The kind of Christianity that propelled the Pilgrims, Puritans, and Patriots to shake off the bands of tyranny and establish this great country called America. Christianity of old quenched the flames of oppression, lit the fires of freedom, and led two continents out of the darkness of paganism. Today's Christianity is known for bingo games, softball leagues, and milquetoast preachers. Christianity of old toppled the Roman Empire. Today's Christianity cannot even rid the nation of legal abortion.
The real mission field may not be in heathen lands across the seas but in America's churches right here at home! As a result, the obvious question that must be asked is, "What in the world are our pastors and church leaders teaching their congregations?" It would appear that whatever they are teaching, it isn't the Bible!"
Charles H. Spurgeon was asked the question "what should be done about people who fall asleep during church?" Spurgeon replied, "WAKE UP THE PREACHER!" America's preachers are asleep, NOT fighting the good fight of faith!
My friend, do not to get deceived. Life is like ‘vapor’, it’s short and uncertain (James 4:14). It’s short and frail. In psalm 90, Moses compares life to the grass of the field that sprouts in the morning and by evening; it has faded under the hot sun. The healthiest person today can easily vanish by nightfall. There are no guarantees about tomorrow, let alone next year or five years from now. The only guarantee is that we all are going to die. The odds are impressive. One out of one person dies.
The Bible teaches that God appoints both our birthday and death day (Ps. 139:16). Not only death is a guarantee, but also God’s judgment (Hebrews 9:27).
The good news is that when a Christian dies, he does not come into judgment but rather saved from judgment because of what Christ did. The very next verse Heb 9:28 says: “so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation”. Jesus said: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life” (John 5:24).
If you have not truly repented of your sins and opened your heart to Jesus Christ, who died and rose from the dead to set you free, I implore you, while there is still time, to turn from sin (repent) and turn to Christ.
